St. Stanislaus Church of Summit Hill, PA - S/3 Books
A collection of three vintage commemorative books from the former St. Stanislaus Church of Summit Hill, Pennsylvania. Established in 1924, with the church building completed in 1925, St. Stanislaus, the Roman Catholic church served a congregation that was originally compromised of mostly Polish immigrants. The church closed in 2008 and was torn down in 2013 following years of disrepair and neglect.
These three commemorative books are celebrations of the church's better, more prosperous years. One is a hardcover, custom book printed in 1974 to celebrate the church's 50th anniversary and features numerous color and black & white photos taken throughout the church's history. The remaining two are softcover booklets celebrating the church's 60th Anniversary and Golden Jubilee in 1984.
A great gift for anyone from the area of Summit Hill or collectors of vintage religious ephemera.
